At Northview, we believe that true worship is a lifestyle of praise and obedience that seeks to bring glory to God in all that we do. Our Sunday morning worship service is a time in which we gather as the body of Christ to worship and glorify Him corporately and to minister to each other. We do so through worship using gifts such as music that embrace both a contemporary style of music with rich biblical lyrics and one that also honors the traditions of classic God-centered hymns. Most importantly, we seek to use music that is theologically grounded, and that points to the true and living God. Our heart is to praise the Lord unashamedly and worship Him intimately. We believe that the transformational power of God's Spirit forms the life of His Son, Jesus Christ, within us.
We want to also embrace the gifts of other musicians and offer an opportunity for additional instrumentalists and vocalists to share in this ministry. We hope to include a wide spectrum of instrumentalists who are open to volunteering their gifts and talents to our gracious God. So, whether your instrument is your voice, orchestral or contemporary, we want to encourage you to inquire about participating.
Another essential role to fill in our worship services is in our visual/media and live/audio ministries. Sharing and providing our weekly messages through visual media in a professional way is critical in helping our congregation connect in what we are sharing. Building up skilled volunteers who are engaged and open to learning and providing a quality presentation can be so vital to every worship service. If you are open, love embracing new challenges, teachable, or already have a skill in media presentation, mixing sound, audio engineering, or assisting in our live in-person or streaming services, we have opportunities available for you. Please contact our worship arts director for more information on how you can get plugged in.
